Make Globalization Simple – Introducing Local Site Manager

It’s that time of the year! With the introduction of Version 7.3 of Jahia’s Digital Experience Platform comes a whole new slew of modules to help you take your platform to the next level. We’re excited to announce the first of these, Local Site Manager.

Now, first off, if you’re not familiar with modules, they are our shorthand at Jahia for add-ons that you are able to turn on and turn off for your specific DXP solution. In other words, modules are additional, optional functionality for DX, provided at no additional cost and meant to enrich your Jahian experience, all based on feedback we’ve received from our customers and partners.

So with that out of the way, what is Local Site Manager?

To put it simply, Local Site Manager allows you to localize and utilize content from your organization’s global webpages for use on your local site.

Local Site Manager’s localization process is achieved with a simple and easy-to-use interface located on the main DX platform.

Synchronization is simple and fully customizable. Make specific rules for specific countries, pick-and-choose pieces you want to localize, create unique scenarios based on language, and sync content automatically or manually. The world (digitally-speaking) is your oyster!

Not only text – pictures, videos, forms…the entire experience can be synched and adapted to fit your local needs!

Preview changes “in context.” See what you’re doing before you do it. You wouldn’t cross a street before checking both ways, right?

Local Site Manager is just a piece of some very exciting updates we’re eager to be bringing your way. If you’re interested in learning more about Local Site Manager or any of our other new modules, contact us!
