virtual site import

by  mariocauwe »  2011/06/07 20:54

Hi,

We have two separate jahia sites. We would like to create a new Jahia 6 installation and import both sites as virtual sites in the same instance. As I understood, the same database instance is used.

As both 'old' jahia sites may have equal pids, how does Jahia 6 solve this problem? (pid 1 on site A and pid 1 on site B)
Will it cause conflicts and prevent us from importing them as virtual sites?

    Hello,

Jahia does not preserve the same page-ids on import, but will use the next available. So there should be no conflicts.

    Regards,
