JahiApp deployment problem

by  sundararaj »  2011/06/14 09:24

Hi Folks,

I put the forum-1.0.war into the jahia installation folder ( deployModule.bat also resides in this folder) and run the below command from the command prompt

deployModule.bat forum-1.0.war tomcat/webapps/ROOT   ( deployModule.bat and forum-1.0.war both resides in the same folder)

but this returns an error message like  " it seems target path is not correct ..."

Could you please suggest me on this to install the forum-1.0.war successfully ?

Thanks in advance

Sundararaj Govindasamy

    Hello,

have you tried specifying the full absolute path for the Jahia Web application (instead of the relative one: tomcat/webapps/ROOT)?

Let us know, please, that we can work on the improvement.

    Kind regards

    Sergiy

    Hi Shyrkov,
Thank you very much for your immediate response.
I tried your suggestion as follows, unfortunately , i am getting the same error message as below.

    C:\Jahia_xCM_v6.5.0.0>deployModule.bat forum-1.0.war C:/Jahia_xCM_v6.5.0.0/tomcat/webapps/ROOT
Target does not seem to be a valid jahia root folder.

Please suggest me on this to proceed.

    Regards
    Sundararaj Govindasamy

    Hi Sundararaj,

I just tested it. In fact you need the absolute path to the war file.

    The syntax is the following:
    deployModule.bat /<absolute path to the war>/seo-1.1-SNAPSHOT.war tomcat/webapps/ROOT
