Hello!

could you check your MySQL configuration file and the value of max_allowed_packet? It should be at least 100M:

http://www.jahia.com/community/documentation/jahiapedia-v6_6/databases/mysql.html

The current installer runs some checks but is not really explicit about the problems, we made some changes for the future versions.

Let me know if it helped.

Cheers,

Guillaume

Mate, you are a champion . It worked like a charm. Thanks a lot. I struggled for a month to fixed it. LOL

By the way,  I went to this link you have provided me :

    http://www.jahia.com/community/documentation/jahiapedia-v6_6/databases/mysql.html

But i didnt change anything regarding InnoDB only changed max_allowed_packet. Should I be using InnoDB ? I tried add InnoDB info befor but my mysql wouldnt start with the InnoDB configuration.

    Thanks a lot

    Hello,

MySQL is not always allowing to change the InnoDB settings after some data was created.

So, if you change the log file size you will have to delete the corresponding log files before MySQL start.

If you change the data file size (innodb_data_file_path) you will have to delete the InnoDB data files (but this will cause all your current DB data to be lost).

    Kind regards

    Sergiy
