Install Jahia on Windows Server 2008 R2

by  asertic »  2013/02/06 15:58

Hi,

I've successfully installed Jahia on my desktop pc. Now I'm trying to install it on Windows Server 2008 R2 (with the same package used on desktop PC) but at at the end of the installation the tomcat server does not start. There are no logs written in tomcat logs directory.

The latest version of java is correctly installed and JRE_HOME is correctly set.

    Hello,

a JRE is not enough. You need to install a Java JDK (version 6, because 7 is not yet supported, but soon) and the environment variable, which should be set is called JAVA_HOME
