Hello,

when you are using Jahia Configuration Wizard there is a step for choosing the target DBMS. There is a button/link for advanced setup, where you can select Oracle as the DBMS target.

Kind regards
Sergiy

    Hello,

you should not disable UTF-8 support in Jahia, but rather create Oracle schema with UTF-8 support.
Please, consult Oracle documentation for further information.
Jahia requires a DBMS that supports UTF-8 as the internationalization and multi-lingual content editing features have it as a strict requirement.

    Kind regards
    Sergiy

database which is used more different projects

    PARAMETER VALUE
    NLS_LANGUAGE AMERICAN
    NLS_TERRITORY AMERICA
    NLS_CURRENCY $
    NLS_ISO_CURRENCY AMERICA
    NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS .,
    NLS_CHARACTERSET WE8ISO8859P9
    NLS_CALENDAR GREGORIAN
    NLS_DATE_FORMAT DD-MON-RR
    NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE AMERICAN
    NLS_SORT BINARY
    NLS_TIME_FORMAT HH.MI.SSXFF AM
    NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFF AM
    NLS_TIME_TZ_FORMAT HH.MI.SSXFF AM TZR
    NLS_TIMESTAMP_TZ_FORMAT DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFF AM TZR
    NLS_DUAL_CURRENCY $
    NLS_COMP BINARY
    NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS BYTE
    NLS_NCHAR_CONV_EXCP FALSE
    NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET UTF8
    NLS_RDBMS_VERSION 10.2.0.1.0

so I could not change charset because other project is not be run.
is it possibe to change charset by schema user or tables?
is it possible to configure any xml plug in at jahia?

    Hello,

no, there is no such kind of plugin.
Jahia 6.0 is designed to handle content in any language, thus UTF-8 compliance of the underlying DBMS is a strict prerequisite.
Even if there is a technical possibility of disabling UTF-8 compliance check during Jahia Configuration Wizard, we cannot guarantee the consistency of the DB content in such case.

    Kind regards
    Sergiy
