Linked copy

by  adeforsan »  2011/06/07 17:58

We use the linked copies in Jahia 5 to have dynamic copies of branches of our site.

How can we do that with Jahia 6.5?

Linked copies are still available in Jahia 6.5, in edit mode. You can right click on any content or area, and use "copy", then "paste as reference" to paste a linked copy.

Yes indeed for the content. But what about branches of site. I tried to use the copy + paste as reference for a page and I get something like a simple <a> link.

Have a look at http://jira.jahia.org/browse/JAHIA-4992 to see more info about this issue.

Best Regards

    Hello Christophe,

I am testing the copy an "paste reference" on the Jahia 6.5 build 36170, and seems to work good:screenshot.

Could you, please, confirm if the issue is still present on the build 36170 or it is just that my test case it not complete?

    Thank you in advance

    Kind regards
    Sergiy

    Re: Module customization

Modules are fully customizable. Developers can implement specific modules or modify the existing modules through the Jahia aAPI or tag library.

Full documentation will be provided when the final release of Jahia 6.5 is available.
