by  testa »  2011/06/07 20:05

I have the following definition. When I open 'Update Content Object' window on the browser, I see pageTitle, image, bigText link only .. 'paragraph' link is missing from the 'Update Content Object' popup window.

[hmhedu_templates:journeysParagraph] gt; jnt:container
bigText paragraphText

[hmhedu_templates:simpleContentWithImage]

    Hello,

in the 'Update Content Object' window you can only set the field of one container. As the paragraph is a sub container list holding paragraph containers, you need to have a nested lt;template:containerList...

    Thanks,

That is what I did, for some reason I thought I was missing the sub container list from the 'content object list' window.

Is there a way to display multiple input field in the 'content object list' (instead of displaying one field at a time).

    For example, if I have

    [hmhedu_templates:simpleContentWithImage] gt jnt:container
    smallText pageTitle1
    smallText pageTitle2
    smallText pageTitle3

and I want to display all the fields so that user and edit them all at once without clicking on the pageTitle1, pageTitle2, pageTitle3 links. Is there a way to do it.
Do I use definition.grp file to group them to one edit form?

    Hello,

normally if you have three smalltext fields, they will all be displayed all at once on one page. The field types, which require their own page are the ones of type: bigText, page, file and application.

Now Jahia takes the fields order from the CND. And if a field is one of the above mentioned it displays it in a new page and the next field in a page after that.

With the definition.grp you can define other grouping (e.g. change the order or make quot;page breaks
