Jahia 6 - randomContainer tag question

by  mamat »  2011/06/07 19:55

Hello,

I use a template:randomContainer tag to display a random banner in my template, it works perfectly on the view or live display, but in the edit mode, all the banners in my container list are displayed at the same time, is there any way to display only one random banner in edit mode ?

Here is the code for my random banner container :

[code:4r2l1bsa]
lt;template

    Hi,

In edit mode we display all containers because you need the possibility to change the containers.
But you can use the windowSize=quot;1

You need a pagination, or you open the update engine on the only banner displayed, and you use previous/forward arrows (top right) to navigate from item to item, but in that case you'll be able to add or modifiy items (banners) but not delete them, as the delete container appears only in the action menu of the edit mode. It's up to you :-)
