How to control the StaticAsset service for Live-Mode?

by  gkrost »  2012/09/19 09:56

I have some JS (jQuery) based elements on a page. In preview mode everything works fine, but in Live-Mode the underlying JavaScript and CSS is minimized and concatenated into one file for css and one for all the js. In live mode some JS functionality is not working. The Firebug-Console does not show me a JS error or warning. The only difference between the generated HTML for Live/Preview is the references to the .css and .js files.

In Live Mode:

<link id="staticAssetCSS0" rel="stylesheet" href="/resources/2079c5d84456e671e6b3c832e545742.min.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<script id="staticAssetJavascript0" type="text/javascript" src="/resources/eff0431628ca37f2a5f412f61079d8f0.min.js"></script>

in Preview Mode:

<link id="staticAssetCSS0" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/web-templates/css/960.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS1" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/default-overrides/css/shortcuts.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS2" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/default-overrides/css/simplesearchform.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS3" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/assets/css/jquery-ui.smoothness.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS4" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/default-overrides/css/superfish.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS5" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/assets/css/960.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS6" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/default-overrides/css/banner.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS7" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/default-overrides/css/news.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS8" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/assets/css/fileList.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS9" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/assets/css/simpleList.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS10" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/web-templates/css/01web.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<link id="staticAssetCSS11" rel="stylesheet" href="/modules/web-templates/css/02mod.css" media="screen" type="text/css"/>
<script id="staticAssetJavascript0" type="text/javascript" src="/modules/assets/javascript/textsizer.js"></script>
<script id="staticAssetJavascript1" type="text/javascript" src="/modules/assets/javascript/jquery.js"></script>
<script id="staticAssetJavascript2" type="text/javascript" src="/modules/assets/javascript/jquery-ui.min.js"></script>
<script id="staticAssetJavascript3" type="text/javascript" src="/modules/default-overrides/javascript/superfish.js"></script>

is not helpful.

Thank you.

Hello,

To disable the aggregation and compression of the assets, you have to set the property aggregateAndCompressAssets to true in the WEB-INF/etc/config/jahia.properties file

best regards
