Static Publishing

by  peddy_cms »  2012/06/05 04:51

Hi ,

Was wondering if they are any static publishing modules available for jahia ? We use Akamai to distribute allot of our content and it would be ideal integration.

Thanks

pete

Hi Pete,

Jahia is compatible with CND like Akamai for all static ressources (binaries, css, and other same kind of files which represent the heaviest part of the content most of the time).

Jahia does not integrate a "baking" mechanism so far for pages themselves, but there are some alternative solutions for good scalling and integrate also a html flattening mechanism built-in the core that could be used to provide html chunks to Akamaï with a little work I think. So, there is certainly a solution that fits your needs. You should certainly get in touch with jahia sales/technical teams to have more complete discussion and validate that Jahia match your needs.
