Jrebel & Jahia

by  gkuhmel »  2012/11/21 13:39

Hi there,

Has anyone tried to use JRebel for developping Jahia Modules (into eclipse) ?

Modifying custom classes embedded into the modules and see immediately the changes on Jahian without redeploying and/or restarting should be really great !

For some strange reason this worked 'mostly' within my with standard version in eclipse.

My setup is with Glassfish and when I open my Debugger to classfish and changes a class, these modifications are gettin deployed without restarting.

Somet things didn't work well, for example when my Java code contained a error, making new classes or I blieve new functions. Any other codes changed seemed to get deployed right away.
