Joe,

i have been a Jahia user since Feb 2011, when Jahia 6.5 was still in beta. My background in CMS systems is mostly TYPO3 (I am a certified TYPO3 developer) and know OPen Source communities very well.

Working with Jahia is been a pleasure to me. I have had very good contacts with some core Jahia developers and they even fixed Jahia to work seamlessly on Glassfish 3.x.. As you hang out on the forums more often, you will see core developers do hang out here on the forums (Serge, Fabrice, Sergiy) often answer questions here!

In terms of quality feedback there is a lot, in terms of activity it's still a growing community.

I myself am not a 'guru' java developers, but could creat emy modules for Jahia fairly easy and workign with Jahia for our editors also easy.
