extends a component to add a property without the checkbox

by  alexandre »  2012/08/30 08:31

Hi everyone,

I would like to extend an existing Jahia component with this kind of code in one of my modules definition.cnd :

[mymix:mixValueFormElement] mixin
extends = jnt:formListElement
- value (string)

I know it would work, but in edit mode, i would have to click on a checkbox to display the field.

Is there a way to avoid the checkbox and force the field to be displayed ?

Thanks in advance

    Hi alexandre,

    If you want to remove the checkbox you would have to edit the definition of jnt:formListElement and directly add the parameter. Another solution would be to fork this module.

    I don't want to modify the definition of the native jahia module, so i'll fork it. Thanks for your help =)
