Error on creating custom valve

by  abhinitb »  2012/11/20 13:20

Hi,

I created a custom authentication valve to authenticate my external user through LDAP. As per the documentation available in Jahiapedia for custom authentication valve(http://www.jahia.com/community/documentation/jahiapedia-v6_6/security/authenticationValves.html#custom), I created a valve and did the entry in my custom module/spring/applicationcontext-auth-pipeline.xml.

When I deployed the module and restarted my Jahia instance, it started throwing 404 error. The instance could not be started. The error :

Cannot convert value of type [org.apache.pluto.driver.container.PortalDriverServicesImpl] to required type [org.apache.pluto.container.ContainerServices]: no matching editors or conversion strategy found

I removed the module from the deployed modules but still the instance could not be started. Can anyone let me know  how can this error be resolved ?

Thanks,

Abhinit
