Distinguish between 404 and no access

by  asy »  2014/03/04 08:32

When a user does not have access to a file, a 404 is shown.  Is there a way to distinguish 404 from access restriction to a certain file?

I am using Jahia 6.6.

Regards,

Asy

    Hi,

If a file is not visible for a user, it does return 404 on purpose. There's currently no way to distinguish a non existing file from a restricted file.

    Regards
