bypass login in rest api

by  asy »  2013/03/20 10:28

Hi,

Is it possible to bypass the login when using the rest API?

For example, going to http://localhost:8080/cms/en/sites/iom/home.rss.do instead of executing the action class, I am first prompted to login.  Can this behavior be changed?

Regards,

asy

    Hello asy,

    if the "rss" action should be a public one (I mean should not require any athentication), than you can add the following properte into the Spring configuration file for your action:

    <property name="requireAuthenticatedUser" value="false"/>

    By default all Actions in Jahia require an authenticated user for security reasons. So it needs to be specified explicitly if your action should be publically accessible.

    Kind regards

    Sergiy
