Views for content templates not showing up - how views are associated with templates and content types

by  views, content templates, node types »  2016/05/13 02:21

Hi,

The views I created for content nodes does not show up when I edit the main-resource-display eleement,

### I did select my content templates and added my node to be displayed using that template.
Tried copying the structure and naming convention of the "Jahia news" module with no lucks. Still couldn't figure out how views are associated with templates.... my node definition and folder structure for the template looks like this:

node type = bd:tutorials
node Title = Tutorial entry

The vews are created under "/src/main/resources/bd_tutorials/html/"  :
tutorials.jsp, tutorial.detailed.jsp

Hi,

When creating a content template, you have the possibility to link it to your detail jsp.

Did you double-check this point?

To be more precise, you have to select the details.jsp as a view of the main-resource-display contnent.

You also have to enable your content template as the default one.

Did you also double-check this point?

To be more precise, you have to enable the field "Can be used as default" in your content template.

Hope this helps!

Ludovic
