Publication problem for two pages with the same template

by  Maxime »  2016/03/15 15:57

Hello,

We have a problem with the publication of two pages with the same template.

We create a first page, Page1 with a template. Then we create a 2nd page, Page2 with the same template.

We publish the two pages...

Then we switch in live mode for Page1, all is OK (correct url and the first page is displayed...).

When we try to switch in live mode for Page2, the url is the Page2 url but it's the Page1 display.

We can display the Page2 on live mode only if we clear the cache.

Did somone has an idea for this problem ?

Thanx for answers.

Hi,

1. What is the version of Jahia ?

2. Do you put your page content inside of an "absolute area" on the both pages ? What happens if you put your content on non "absolute area", do you have the same content on both pages in live ?

Regards.

    Thank you for the answer,

We tested on two versions : 7.1.0.0 and 7.1.1.0. Apparently we have the same problem on those two versions.

We just have the header in an absolute area but the rest of the page content is in a non absolute area.

Even if i remove the header for only have non absolute area content type, i have the same comportement.

    Have a nice day !

Not easy to find the issue from here.

Could you share your repository.xml file of your templateSet to understand the problem ?

    Thanks.

What did you use to create your main content zone in your page template ?

If you created the main content zone with your own component (ex: myZoneComponent) then you must add myZoneComponent.properties file besides your myZoneComponent.jsp and put cache.mainResource=true to inside. Please see how bootstrapFullComponent is done: https://github.com/Jahia/bootstrap-components/tree/master/src/main/resources/jnt_bootstrapFullComponent/html

Or first create a "blue" zone inside of your "pagecontent" and then add your myZoneComponent.  Thanks.
