No modules are shown in Studio Mode

by  ali.ghahraei@citi.com.mx »  2017/02/10 23:48

I've tried to add a new module several times, but none of my attempts are shown inside the module list. I don't know if something is not configured correctly or if I'm simply missing a step somewhere.

I'd appreciate your help.

    Hello, I have the same situation. But I found a problem:

    The desired archetype does not exist (org.jahia.archetypes:jahia-module-archetype:2.5-SNAPSHOT)

    And it's not a realy exists.

    Hi,

    This issue was because of a change Apache made on the maven-archetype-plugin, they decided to drop the support of a feature Jahia use to create modules (see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARCHETYPE-438).

    SDKs updated with workaround for this issue is now available on jahia.com. Can you try with the latest SDK and see it works for you?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response. The issue just disappeared after my Jahia installation downloaded some files on its own, so I don't know if the latest SDK would have solved this. Has anybody else tried?

    Solution

    by  IceSqueez@gmail.com »  2017/03/07 09:43

    Hi guys,

    I found solution. You need to edit your maven conf

    in the settings.xml add:

      <profiles>
        <profile>
          <id>default</id>
          <repositories>
            <repository>
              <id>Jahia</id>
              <name>Jahia Public Repository</name>
              <url>https://devtools.jahia.com/nexus/content/groups/maven-jahia-org/</url>
            </repository>
            <repository>
              <id>Kotlin</id>
              <name>Kotlin Public Repository</name>
              <url>https://dl.bintray.com/kotlin/kotlin-dev/</url>
            </repository>
          </repositories>
        </profile>
      </profiles>
      <activeProfiles>
        <activeProfile>default</activeProfile>
      </activeProfiles>

    save and try again. ;)

    Hello Alexander,

    we apologize for these inconveniences.
    A recent release of the maven-archetype-plugin has broken this feature (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARCHETYPE-519).
    May I ask you to follow the instructions https://jira.jahia.org/browse/JKB-36 for a temporary workaround?
    We have addressed this issue in the upcoming versions of DX (7.1.2.3 and 7.2.0.2) due end of March / begining of April.

    Kind regards
    Sergiy
