Multiple workstations share one database

by  chris »  2012/03/08 13:17

Hello,

our intention is to develop with multiple developers and share one database for the jahia repository?
Is it possible to work with Jahia in this manner?

How do you develop on Jahia? Does every developer has his own local database?

Greetings from Germany,

Chris

    Hello Chris,

no, unfortunately this is not possible. All Jahia servers accessing the same database must be configured to work together in cluster mode, otherwise there is a high risk of inconsistencies.

So during development it is advisable that all developers either work with a local database or have their own schema on a shared DB server.

    Regards,
    Benjamin
