Issue with embedded swf file in a portlet page

by  aalmero »  2011/06/07 18:36

we have a portlet that uses flash object to display data, basically a pie chart.

referencing the js file AC_RunActiveContent.js doesn't make the portlet work.

embedding the content of js file AC_RunActiveContent.js do work but, it only display this portlet, other portlets on the same page does not display at all. below is the url being shown on the browser.

[code:15cq0lll]http/1html
[/code:15cq0lll]

i am assuming that it has something to do with the gwt, is there any work around for this?

thanks

    Hello,

How are you referencing the AC_RunActiveContent.js from your portlet ? The best way should be to reference it directly, including the context path of the portlet, such as :

    /1

The GWT rendering of porlets can also be deactivated in the jahia.properties file by modifying the following property :

    ######################################################################
    ### Portlets #########################################################
    ######################################################################
    # the following parameter activates AJAX rendering of portlets. This
    # is available only for logged-in users and requires clients to
    # support Javascript.
    portletAJAXRenderingActivated = true

Change it to false to deactivate the AJAX rendering.

I hope this will help you solve your issue.
    Best regards,
    Serge Huber.
