Configure/Deploy multiple portlets from a single war file

by  aalmero »  2011/06/07 18:33

How would i configure/deploy multiple portlets from a single war file?

I am deploying a war file with multiple portlets but only one of them can be selected in the mashup manager.

Thanks

    Hello,

Did you use the tool in the administration /1 to prepare your WAR for deployment ? This will add the required sections in the web.xml file to make all the portlets available.

    Regards,
    Serge Huber.

That's exactly what I did. It was deployed well as there was no error on the console and I can see the portlets listed from my war file. When I was trying to add them to a page using the mashup, selecting the second portlet would always go the the first portlet. There could be some unique id setup needed in the configuration file.

    thanks

Did you check the configurations? As you said, there might be an id setup for that.
