CIFS - Alfresco connection

by  giantjack »  2011/06/07 18:35

Hi,

I'm desesperatly searching a way to connect an Alfresco space to the Jahia file manager.

I've tried to look at CIFS but i fail to connect my Alfresco CIFS to Jahia thanks to authentication which doesn't work.

I've also seen that it's possible to use a bean commented in the services-context file. Is there anybody who have tried to make it work.

Or others solutions is it possible to connect a distant repository to Jahia using Webdav or FTP, because i can have it with Alfresco if it will work.

If somebody can help me for one of these points, I will thank him/her a lot.

Best regards

Hi,
There doesn't seem to be a simple way to mount an Alfresco filesystem through CIFS or Webdav out of the box (i.e. without some specific integration), as authentication wouldn't be handled properly. Actually the Alfresco connector available though the Jahia Universal Content Hub seems to be the right answer for that need.
