Configuration Groovy Patcher

by  fdt_mnh »  2017/03/14 15:35

Bonjour,

j'ai lu dans la doc qu'on peut configurer le groovy patcher en mode serveur (valeur par défaut 5 mns). Mais par contre nul par dans la doc il n'y a d'indication sur la façon de faire cela.

Quelqu'un sait il comment faire?

D'avance merci

Hello,

in the "development" operating mode (valu of the operatingMode entry in the jahia.properties), the interval is alwayys set to 5 seconds. In any other mode, including production, the value by default is indeedn 5 minutes.

In order to override that interval, you would need to add the folowing Spring bean definition into e.g. the <digital-factory-config>/jahia/applicationcontext-custom.xml file:

    <bean id="groovyPatcher" class="org.jahia.tools.patches.GroovyPatcher">
        <property name="interval" value="60000"/>
    </bean>

The interval value is in milliseconds. So the example above uses an interval of 1 minute. A zero or negative value disables the periodical checks for groovy patches (but does not disable the check for patches on DX startup).

A restart of DX server is required to make the changes effective.

Kind regards

Sergiy
