Business Development Manager (BDM) Permanent full time in Boston area preferred

As the BDM, you are responsible for two critical functions: 1) generating qualified sales opportunities, and 2) closing revenue for our digital experience management solutions. This is a quota-bearing sales role that works closely with prospects, the broader Jahia Territory Teams, and partners via in person meetings, phone, email, web and social channels. You must be a strong hunter and develop new sales opportunities by prospecting into target organizations with effective cold calling, targeted emailing, social media outreach, relationship-building and navigation skills. You must also be a strategic thinker with a laser focus and large network and demonstrable track record of selling to CMOs and CIOs


You will have:

• Strong Record of Achievement ○ 5+ years of consistent over quota performance and experience selling Marketing, Customer Experience or Web Content Management solutions

○ Experience working as part of partner centric collaborative team including Marketing, Technical Pre-Sales Engineers and Sales teams.

○ Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, especially at the executive level, with emphasis on persuasion and influence

○ Must have had a success at a SaaS start-up and success selling SaaS solutions

○ Must have sold to “line of business” (i.e. not just selling infrastructure to IT)

○ Experience meeting forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy

○ Strong executive presence and polish

○ Excellent communication and business acumen skills to develop relationships in IT, Marketing and executive levels throughout organizations
