Jahia announces the availability of Jahia 6.5 Beta 3

A new major milestone to its upcoming next generation open source CMS, unveiling collaborative and social features

Washington, DC - Geneva, Switzerland -  May 12, 2011 - Jahia, vendor of the next generation Open source CMS today releases beta 3 of its Jahia 6.5 offering. Collaborative and social features, together with incorporated feedback from the community and partners, are defining the future of CMS.

This latest beta release comes with exciting collaborative and social modules, further expanding the original vision announced with the December Beta:

  • Collaborative modules: blog, wiki and forum
  • Social modules: myConnections interaction from Jahia’s interface; a myPortal personal portal for users to customize their Jahia environment with content from multiple sources; and a rating module which can be added to ANY content.

Previous releases of the Jahia beta have received high praises from Jahia partners, enrolled in the Beta Partner Program. Jahia partners participate in training, and expanding the beta by creating additional functional modules.
