The Indy 500 was the premier event of the 2016 racing season.
This year, the race celebrated its 100-year anniversary. Jahia sponsored car #77, in partnership with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, to support driver Oriol Servia.

Jahia sponsored an Indy 500 race car and driver to raise brand awareness in a dynamic, committed community. This participation was a clear metaphor between racing and digital enterprise in that both use real-time analytics, 1:1 engagement on mobile devices (Indy pioneered targeting and personalization with push notifications) and being first to the line / market is key.

Oriol Servià, son of a Spanish Rally champion, has been racing since he was young in various series around the world. Servià has had success in Champ Car before joining the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2008 and finished fourth in the 2011 championship standings with Newman/Haas Racing. Oriol started the 2015 FIA Formula E season driving for Dragon Racing then became the team’s Managing Director, Technical and Commercial partnerships.
