Clustering Ready

Do you need high availability for your web site? Better performance? Jahia Professional Edition supports complex clustering scenarii. You can now fully customize your clustered environment with dedicated Publishing, Authoring, Indexing or Processing nodes in order to optimize loads and boost performance. For instance, isolate long tasks on a dedicated Jahia Processing Server: certain jahia tasks may take a lot of CPU resources. This includes large workflows (validation of hundreds of page simultaneously), large content imports (XML import of lots of content objects) or some other syncronization tasks (replication of a site on a remote Jahia server). All of them can now be delegated to a separate dedicated Jahia Processing Server. Editors directly get the hand back on their authoring server without being impacted by such operations which run as back-end tasks. The same is true for our dedicated Indexation Server. By default, Jahia indexes content and files modifications in real time. Such operations, and especially indexation of large Office or PDF files, may be quite time and CPU consuming. You can now isolate your Jahia indexation server on a dedicated machine in order to not impact performance of your other publishing or authoring server(s).

Intelligent Front-end Cache Proxy

Dynamic pages are slow to generate... so why bother constantly regenerating complete pages if only small portions change? That is the goal of the front-end Jahia Cache Proxy Server. Compliant with the ESI/JESI standard, it allows the Cache Server to cache and assemble shared and personalized fragments of HTML on-the-fly for maximum speed at minimal memory costs. Dynamically linked to the Jahia servers, the Cache Server can automatically flush the adequate HTML fragments when their content is changed.

Single-Sign-On Support

The Jahia Professional Edition supports LDAP directories allowing companies to reuse their current base of users and groups. Jahia also support various Single-Sign-On standards such as CAS, LemonLDAP or Windows NT authentification.

Dynamic Site Replication

Your web site is edited on your intranet network but your web server is hosted somewhere else? Do you need to automatically synchronize one or several of your Jahia virtual sites on another distant Jahia server?
